Anglican church Hammersmith London

A commission done in partnership with Firminger roofing. The flank wall shown was carefully prepared for re-pointing. Its mortar joints were cleaned and recessed ready for re-pointing with a mixture of sharp sand, soft sand, cement and lime. This was a unique opportunity for Jack to get hands-on restoring a genuine piece of Victorian Gothic church. The end result was well received and a satisfying job to have completed.

Refurbishing a small bathroom to create a bathroom shower and steam room.

Jack is seen here
in the process of- grouting the shower/steam area of the project.

This was a joint project with Bryan Edwards of BG Home Heating who secured the job and provided the planning and plumbing technology. Jack provided the carpentry and tiling skills a share of the labouring and the stoic strength of character to shoulder Bryan's relentlessly humourous tirades throughout the project (no small achievement).

Bryan Edwards has just told the client
that Jack is recently released from custody, that he is helping him into a new career but even so to
"best to keep an eye on the valuables."
