Mosaics

Cyprus Mosaics:  In October 2006 Jack visited the ancient Roman site at Salamis, Northern Cyprus, and saw first hand the Roman mosaics, which are as inspiring now as they must have been when first created.

Mosaics:  in February 2007 Jack attended a Mosaics course run by Emma Biggs,  www.mosaicworkshop.com
he was introduced to the methods of production of hand made mosaics in different styles and was able to experiment with various techniques.

Historical Architecture
and Conservation

Jack is a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB)
and has a keen interest in the use of appropriate materials
for the restoration of older, and listed buildings.


Jack lives in a grade 2 listed house,
which is badly in need of
time and money for TLC.
